Honestly in Small to medium size organizations the role of a DevOps Engineer and Cloud Engineer are often combined as you are doing a mixture of both Cloud Architecting and building CI/CD pipelines. Thats why you see so many job descriptions mentioning both duties.

Its really just working in an agile way between IT Operations teams and Software Engineering teams breaking those silos. Thats all DevOps really is about to streamline processes.

Thanks for the video I have a simple question regarding Promtail; I am using regexp to set labels. Are all the lines in the log that don't meet the regexp still sent to Loki? If "yes", is there any way to not do that and just send to Loki only the lines that pass the regexp? In other words I’d like to send to Loki only a subset of log lines.
